jaymack77 Sounds like the crappie and bluegill are moving in shallow just left the lake and fishermen around fairfield beach are reporting some decent sizes

sixpoint Colddddd as heck, but i hit a small farm pond tonight after work. Caught 3 gills(2 keepers) and a 2pound bass. I gotta figure out this fish finder.....

jaymack77 Just left the lake the ice was thick 10- 12 inches thick! That is the good news the bad news I only had a couple bites and no fish. I used waxworms and minnows with no luck. If your luck is any better let us know

jaymack77 Went by fairfield on monday and there where some shantys out on the ice and a few fishermen.Never got to ask what was biting or how thik the ice was. Let me know if u have been out ice fishing buckeye lake lately

jaymack77 Drove by the north shore today and the rock pier had all open water around it and alot of open water on the lake. Someone was just starting to fish on the rock pier but I never got to ask him if he is doing any good. Looks like the ice fishing is done for a while
